Step 3: Adjust the temperature of the iron and use the thick book to press the middle part of one side of the skirt

Step 4: Press the waist of the skirt on the side where the book is placed, iron the waist first, then iron downwards, and after ironing up and down once, you can basically remove the book, iron up and down a few more times, and then iron left and right to basically restore it.
When ironing a pleated skirt, you must first straighten the pattern before you start.

Notes
When you have arranged the pattern of the pleated skirt, press one side with a book to facilitate ironing and prevent the pattern from being skewed when ironing. If there is someone around to help, you can ask them to help hold down the skirt and stretch it.
Once the wrinkles of the pleated skirt become lighter and flatter, remember to iron it after washing, and iron it a few more times.
